Donate to the cause

World Flight Australia was started in 2001 and over the past five years World Flight Australia teams have raised over $80,000 for the RFDS, helping with the costs of equipment in the essential Air Ambulances used to ferry nurses, doctors and patients around rural Australia.

All donations to this team are collected by World Flight Australia (a registered charity) and later transferred to the Royal Flying Doctor Service after the event is complete.

Donations are tax-deductible and receipts are issued for this purpose.

Sponsor a crew member

All crew members agree to donate a specified amount each year. Friends and family can sponsor a crew member and assist them in reaching this target. See 'How to donate' on the left of this page.

Buy 'jump-seat' tickets and sit in the cockpit

Our 737 simulator has two observer 'jump-seats' in the cockpit. If you'd like to accompany a crew on a flight and see how it all happens then contact us to book your seat. During the flight you'll get an opportunity to sit in a pilot seat and get a guided tour of the cockpit systems. You'll also see full airline procedures and checklists in action.

Note: we are located just south-east of Hobart city.

Seats are limited, so book early! Required donation per seat is $40.00 and all proceeds go to the fund-raising effort.

BOOK AND WIN !
All those who purchase jump seat tickets will go into the draw to win a 2 hour experience in the simulator ... but this time from the pilots seat with one of our instructors assisting you.
