World Flight Australia was started in 2001 and over the past five years World Flight Australia teams have raised over $100,000 for the RFDS, helping with the costs of equipment in the essential Air Ambulances used to ferry nurses, doctors and patients around rural Australia.

All donations to this team are collected by World Flight Australia (a registered charity) and transferred to the Royal Flying Doctor Service after the event is complete.

ALL DONATIONS ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE and receipts can beissued for this purpose.

Buy 'jump-seat' tickets and get a seat in the cockpit !

Our 737 simulator has observer 'jump-seats' in the cockpit. If you'd like to accompany a crew on a flight and see how it all happens then click the link below to book your seat. During the flight you'll get an opportunity to sit in a pilot seat and get a guided tour of the cockpit systems. You'll also see full airline procedures and checklists in action. Required donation per jump-seat is $50.00.

In 2009 we also have 6 business class passenger seats available for $20 per pair. Bring a friend and enjoy a live video feed, cockpit tour and all the event atmosphere you can soak up.

Seats are limited, so book early! All proceeds go to the fund-raising effort. Note: we are located just south-east of Hobart city.
