World Flight 2008 comes to an end

After 45 flight legs PBN73 has closed down at Sydney almost 7 days after leaving. It's been a great week of virtual flying and spending time with fantastic people from all over the world. The crew has had a good stiff drink tonight (or two!) and will be getting a well earned rest. Thanks to all who supported us - it's been a great success.

Hobart ATC centre opens

The volumes of traffic in the last remaining flight legs are huge and so the Sydney Air Traffic Control centre has asked us to provide a supplementary centre to assist them. Greg, Trent, Steve and Craig have taken off their pilots hats and providing various ATC roles right now.

Webcam status

Webcam and streaming are running well, however we are overloaded with viewers (we are the most handsome team after all - hehe). Please be patient.. the system is doing the best it can.

Back into Australia

A short time ago we landed in Darwin and it was good to be virtually home. Back on schedule now and preparing for the big finale tonight departing Brisbane 6PM.
